Fort Smith Farmers Market
https://www.fortsmith.org/fort-smith-farmers-market/ Each market day is a festival of the senses thanks to more than 90 growers, artisans and other types of merchants that supply a bountiful cornucopia of fresh produce, flowers, homemade candies, baked goods, canned jams and preserves, high-quality woodturning pieces, gourmet coffees, organic eggs, grass-fed beef and SO MUCH MORE. The Saturday market is also alive with street performers, local musicians, community organizations, tourists and locals alike. There is plenty of parking nearby, as well as handicapped parking on site. The Fort Smith Farmer's Market on Garrison Avenue is open from 7 AM to Noon every Wednesday and Saturday from late spring throughout the fall season and on Saturdays from early winter through early spring.
Fort Smith Skate & Bike Park
Brand new as of Fall 2018, this one-of-a-kind, 12,000 sq. ft. park overlooks the Arkansas River and offers pump tracks, a 12 ft. vertical wall, a Plexiglas wall, art as skating apparatuses, a mountain bike playground and more. The park features areas for beginner, intermediate and advanced-level biking and skating, and a bridge connects the park to the new, 7-mile multi-use Greg Smith River Trail.

At Fort Smith National Historic Site you can walk where Mexican War & Civil War soldiers drilled, pause along the Trail of Tears, and stand where justice was served to some of the most vile outlaws of The Wild West.

Fort Smith Museum of History strives to preserve approximately 40,000 artifacts chronicling the city’s history as well as care for the 1907 Atkinson-Williams Warehouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which houses the museum.
