Anna and Michael’s story began on Hinge in May of 2020, when Anna was home from school due to Covid — and decided to make the first move. With the world shut down, their first date was far from ordinary: a Portillo’s drive-through dinner where they shared a cheese fry and talked for hours. Even though there wasn’t much to do during those uncertain times, they made the best of it — from masked Target runs to fun days at Topgolf. As their connection grew, so did the memories. Over the years, their relationship continued to grow through love, laughter, and endless support. During that time, Anna graduated from college and became a first grade teacher, while Michael graduated from trade school and started his career as a welder. Together, they’ve built a life grounded in encouragement, partnership, and joy — cheering each other on every step of the way. In June of 2025, during a family vacation in Alaska, Michael asked Anna to marry him on a boat surrounded by breathtaking mountains and glaciers. It was a moment straight out of a dream — the perfect next chapter in their story. They are so thankful for the love and support from both of their families and friends. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all the people who mean the most to them.
