Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes, we have reserved a block of rooms at Grand Velas for our wedding guests. To book a room at our special group rate, please use the unique reservation code provided in our wedding save the dates or visit our wedding website's travel section.

Yes, our venue offers a fully inclusive experience. From delectable cuisine to refreshing beverages including access to the exquisite Michelin-starred restaurant—everything is covered. (Please note that the Michelin-starred restaurant is exclusively for guests 18 and older.)

When is the booking deadline for hotel rooms?

Please reserve your room by September 30, 2026. A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due by April 6th, 2027.

For the wedding, the dress code is colorful beach elegant. For the welcome party, resort casual/festive. For the rehearsal dinner (invite only), dressy casual.

Is transportation provided?
Answer
Because everything is on-site at Grand Velas, we are not providing shuttles between events. You will be responsible for airport transfers and any off-property transportation.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Expect beautiful Cabo sunshine! In May, temperatures are typically in the mid-80s to low 90s during the day, with cooler evenings in the 70s. Rain is very unlikely, and skies are usually clear. We recommend light, breathable attire and don’t forget your sunscreen!

We've arranged a special extended rate with the resort from May 18-27, 2027, so you can continue enjoying your celebration at our exclusive group discount.

Do I need a passport, and when should I renew it?
Answer
Yes, a valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. We recommend checking your passport as soon as possible to ensure it is valid for your travel dates. If you need to apply for a new passport or renew an existing one, we suggest doing so at least 4-6 months in advance, as processing times can vary. Please also note that some airlines require passports to be valid for a certain period beyond your travel dates. How to get or renew your passport: Check your status: Make sure your passport is valid through your travel dates Apply or renew: Visit travel.state.gov to complete your application Gather documents: Typically includes proof of citizenship, a valid ID, and a passport photo Submit your application: Either by mail (for renewals) or in person at an authorized passport acceptance facility Plan ahead: Standard processing can take several weeks, so apply early to avoid delays We encourage all guests to plan ahead to ensure a seamless travel experience.
