Maike and I met during the midst of the 2020, Covid pandemic. Being the outgoing, people loving, horse girl that she is, she put a post on Facebook asking if there was anyone in the Sioux Falls area with horses she could groom. She had moved to the US from Germany where she always had horses and was in need of some equine "therapy". As fate would have it, I have more horses than time and figured "why not, I could use a riding partner". Little did I know when I messaged her that fateful day I didn't just gain a riding partner, I gained a best friend. A friend who has been by my side through some of my lowest days, and now will be standing right next to me on the best day of my life!

Jonny is my "little" brother, my A-1, Day-1, my confidant, my friend. He has been by my side his whole life. I thought it's only appropriate that on the biggest day of my life that he remains in his place on "my side" of the aisle.

Aquarius, affectionately known to me as my "little Big sister", has always been someone I have loved and looked up to. She has such a strong faith in God, she is loyal, loving, thoughtful, and kind. As I have grown our relationship has transformed from "annoying little sister" to friend and confidant. In our transformation I have learned that she is also, hilarious, quick witted and edgy! Aquarius I am so thankful to have you in my life and by my side for on this big day!

We have seen each other through thick and thin. Though we live across the country from each other we have always remained close in heart. Juslain and I are kindred spirits. We are both horse girls and both work/worked in the medical field. When we met it was easy to see why we became fast friends. Together we've rescued horses, rode horses, camped and branded cattle with horses, we've even driven across country with horses. Wild horses couldn't keep her from standing next to me to celebrate my wedding!
