Like many great love stories, ours began with a little help from our friends. Our matchmakers were none other than Cammy and Kyle Friberg. Morgan and Cammy have been best friends since childhood, while Nick and Kyle were college football teammates at Carthage College. For months, they insisted we needed to meet—and in 2021, at Cammy and Kyle’s wedding, it finally happened. From the moment we met, there was an instant connection. What began as a chance meeting at a wedding quickly turned into something much more. A few months later, we officially began dating, despite living in different states—Nick in Chicago, Illinois and Morgan in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Over the next several years, we made long distance work, taking turns making the drive every other weekend and creating countless memories along the way. While the miles weren’t always easy, they only strengthened our relationship and made us even more certain we had found something special. During a vacation with friends in beautiful Turks and Caicos, Nick got down on one knee and asked Morgan to spend forever with him. The rest is history, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
