What will happen to the hotel booking I already made?

We are currently working with the booking departments at both hotels to come up with the best options for guests that have already booked.

Where do the bride and groom recommend I stay?

Answer

The bride and groom will be staying at the Le Calette Hotel in the city of Cefalu from July 8-13th. They recommend their guests to stay at the Le Calette or other hotels or Airbnbs close to the city center of Cefalu. Cefalu’s city center is walk-able with lots of history, cafes, shops and bars for the guests to enjoy. The bride and groom also recommend Hotel Tonnara in the city of Trabia. This hotel is about a 40-minute drive to Cefalu, but is conveniently located adjacent to the wedding venue. Hotel Tonnara has a pool, beach access, and a restaurant/bar onsite.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

There will be transportation provided for all guests from the Le Calette Hotel in Cefalu and Hotel Tonnara in Trabia for the wedding day festivities. For guests staying at the Le Calette Hotel and in the city of Cefalu there will be transportation leaving the Le Calette bringing guest to the Church, Venue, and back to the Le Calette at the end of the evening. For Guests staying at Hotel Tonnara there will be transportation provided from the hotel to the church and back to the venue. As the hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the wedding venue guests will be able to walk back to the Hotel Tonnara at the end of the evening.

Do you recommend guests renting a car?

Answer

For guests staying at the Hotel Tonnara we would recommend renting a car as it is a 40-minute drive from the city center of Cefalu. There will be transportation provided on the day of the wedding. For guests staying at the Le Calette Hotel or in the city of Cefalu a rental car is not necessary as the city center is very walk-able. The bride and groom are working on providing information on taxi companies and transportation available to and from the airport. Please check back here for more information on this in the future.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is black –tie welcome. As the bride and groom are getting married in a Catholic Church in Sicily shawls will be provided for women to cover their shoulders. Below the knee dresses are recommended. ** The venue for the wedding reception is a historic castle Costello Lanza in Trabia. There are quite a few areas of cobblestone within the venue. Females may want to consider a sturdier heel or more comfortable shoe. Heel protectors will be provided

Will there be a farewell breakfast the day after the wedding?
