Not yet. We are eloping to Maine and having a small ceremony with our parents. We will be moving to Sweden to pursue our careers at the end of June. We tried our best to plan a traditional wedding ceremony but it soon became clear that what we wanted was not feasible in the amount of time that we had. We still plan on having a commitment ceremony and celebration in the States within the next year or so. More details to follow!
Yes! Spencer has accepted a job at the IKEA global headquarters in Malmo as part of global expansion. Emma will be working in the IKEA Malmo store as a visual merchandiser. We are both very excited to continue our IKEA journeys.
Yeah, I mean, it is. We are madly in love with each other and didn't want to wait to marry until after we moved. It was important to us that we were with our parents for our ceremony (not that we don't love you too). We are ready to start our lives together and we thank you so much for your support!
Yes! We are registered on the Zola website for cash funds because of our relocation. Please see the Registry page to contribute. We are happy to accept personal gifts such as cards, art, or any other non-electrical item. Please mail them to our mailing address listed in the FAQ's.

Not at all! We found this to be the best way to notify all of our family and friends what is going on in our lives. We care about you and wanted to ensure that you were in the know. We plan on having a commitment ceremony in the States at a later date and are doing our due diligence now (collecting addresses, etc.) so that things are easier later on (it turns out planning a wedding is a pain in the ass).
