We met through our mutual friend, Randy (one of Nicole's best friends) going on a group tour of the Nike missile silo in Homestead, FL. Randy had buttered me (Nicole) up to appeal to Johnny by saying I was cute and liked video games and anime (typical, right?). By the next friend gathering at our local Cheesecake Factory, Cupid struck for Johnny when I (Nicole) snuck some bites off of his plate while he was away. Since then, it was a ""will they/won't they" shipping competition held by our closest friends. 10 years later, we were actually ready for eachother and we've been stuck ever since.

On the weekend of our dating anniversary, we were planning to go to the gun range and then dinner later in the evening. I (Nicole) was already anticipating that Johnny would propose at some point that weekend (thanks to some intel provided by my cousin and his sister in-law) but he definitely caught me by surprise when he stopped me once the gun range field was cold from any firing and we walked to our targets.
