BY WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?

We have submitted our headcount to our caterer and rentals company already. If your plans have changed, please let us know ASAP so that we can accommodate. Thank you.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Answer

Please dress comfortably - the sand is no place to walk in high heels! Light weight button up shirts, sunglasses (incase the wind picks up), sandals, linen pants and maxi dresses are all acceptable attire for a desert wedding. Evening jacket recommended. If you are joining us for the remainder of the weekend, anything goes, whatever makes you comfortable.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

We’re expecting sunny skies at 68°-70°F with midnight temperatures dropping to 45°F. Sunrise is 6:25 AM & Sunset is 4:30 PM and they do not disappoint! *Weather link on our Glamis travel page

WHAT IS THE NEAREST LANDMARK TO YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

The nearest landmark is the Glamis Beach Store 5775 CA-78 Brawley, CA 92227 You will see Glamis Dunes Storage on the north side and Vendor Row on the opposite side of Hwy 78. Your turn is about 500 feet east of the store near the railroad tracks. Turn on Wash Road and continue south 2 miles to Wash 10. Ceremony will be on the right (about 300 yards from the road at base of dunes).

WHERE DO I GET A VEHICLE PERMIT?

Answer

Whether you are visiting one day or camping, a vehicle permit is strongly encouraged BEFORE arriving! 7 day and seasonal permits are now available. CAN I BRING A +1? CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Please reach out to us if we have missed a loved one as our headcount has already been submitted to our caterer and rental company. Additional guests are always welcome to celebrate with us on Saturday and Sunday.

WILL THERE BE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE?

Answer

Yes. Instead of portables, we’ve rented additional trailers for restrooms.

WILL THERE BE FOOD/DRINKS AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

Yes, we will have a cocktail hour and our wedding dinner will be catered. Extended weekend meals will be light bites and bbq. Guests opting to stay into the weekend with us can share a favorite dish pot luck style. Please, No Glass Bottles!

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors in the same location.

CAN I BRING MY PET TO YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

We love your pets, we really do, but THIS time, we would prefer that your furry friends stay home. Our security detail, Koda and Oakley, will be part of our wedding crew and we don't want any distractions for our boys in the middle of the ceremony. We understand guests staying the full weekend cannot abandon their kiddos and respectfully request during the ceremony and dinner that pets be kenneled inside trailers. Thank you for your understanding.

CELL PHONES / CAMERAS?

Answer

AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile all have semi-decent cell phone reception and internet usage in "most" areas of the dunes. We will be having a short Unplugged Ceremony so that we can see your lovely faces and all be present in the moment. We ask that during the ceremony, you allow our photographer to do all the picture taking. During the reception, feel free to tag us in all your pics. #idune12222

CAN I BRING MY SAND TOYS TO YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

For the little ones - Yes. For the adults - Also Yes. Although Friday we would like our hearts to be focused on each other, we do plan to take a ride or two on Saturday. Registered red sticker, green sticker, trailers, toy haulers, ATV's, UTV’s, OHV's, ROV's, dune buggies, CanAms, RZR, quads, dirt bikes, 4x4's, SxS’s, anything with sand tires and a whip...if you got'em, you can bring’em; or rent them. (whips and helmets needed to ride).

WHAT ABOUT TENT CAMPING?

Answer

You’re brave, but we don’t really recommend it in the winter time! A trailer or nearby motel would be a more comfortable option. We hope you will have fond memories of our wedding but the December nights can get pretty cold in a tent.
