Rapid City Regional Airport is the closest airport to the venue! There is a little bit of a drive but if renting or accessing a car is a problem, we are happy to pick you up or secure another ride to transport you to the ranch.

This is where we will be having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! Guests are welcome to call the venue to book available rooms and cabins! Additional accomodation options are located just minutes from the ranch.

Denver Road Trip Option

While some people are choosing to catch a connecting flight to Rapid City, SD located at the base of the beautiful Black Hills, some people are choosing to fly into Denver Internation Airport and rent a vehicle to take the 5 hour road trip to the venue. This option allows some guests to make the most out of experiencing some of the beautiful scenery of Wyoming plains and plateaus and the gorgeous views offered by the Black Hills of South Dakota! It also offers the opportunity to stop through some of the tiniest little towns you have ever seen!

Alpine Inn

Located a few miles from the ranch, the Alpine Inn has been noted in several national and international publications for its friendly, homey atmosphere steeped in Old World charm and its delicious meals. The luncheon menu boasts both ethnic European and contemporary dishes. The famous streamlined evening menu features Filet Mignon and homemade desserts that are just as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as to the palate! To locals and world-wide travelers alike, the Alpine Inn is known as a home town restaurant. We are open year round, serving lunch from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm and dinner from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Bavarian Inn, Black Hills

Located in Custer, SD the Bavarian Inn is a 25 minute drive from High Country Guest Ranch, aproximately 18 miles. Located just north of Custer, the Bavarian Inn offers its guests a breathtaking pastoral setting. The crisp mountain air, the whispering of the Ponderosa pines, and the majesty of Buckhorn Mountain all exude local color. Bask in the sun from one of our spacious decks or encounter the areas tranquility from the balcony outside of your room. Our pet-friendly lodging will provide both you and your “best friend” with an ideal getaway. We offer exterior rooms for easy access to green space, fitness & walking paths. Pets must be accompanied by a human at all times and declared upon arrival. A $25.00 fee per pet- per day is applicable. Feel Good Café has great custom coffee and a simple, fresh made breakfast. Available for dine in, pick-up or delivery to the Bavarian Inn. Venture into the bordering territory to revel in the wonder of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Needles Highway, Jewel Cave, Custer State Park, and the Mammoth Site. Relish in the aesthetic value of the Hills through a backwoods excursion. Mount Rushmore KOA Resort at Palmer Gulch Resort

The Mount Rushmore Resort at Palmer Gulch is 11 miles from High Country Guest Ranch. Our family resort caters to vacations built on family fun with outdoor activities and exciting amenities for travelers of all ages. The Lantern Inn is a family-owned and operated motel located in Hill City, SD. We have 18 clean, comfortable, affordable and non-smoking rooms with queen beds. The heated outdoor pool, BBQs and firepit are all available for our guests to enjoy.
