1. Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card? We invite you to RSVP online using the RSVP tab on our wedding website. If you encounter any issues, please let us know via email or call, and we can add you in. 2. What is the deadline to RSVP? Please RSVP by July 30th, 2025. 3. What time should guests arrive? The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4:30PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat. 4. Will there be any pre-wedding or post-wedding events? No, we are not planning any additional events before or after the wedding. 5. What time does the reception end? The reception will officially wrap up at 10:00 PM. 6. Can I bring a plus one? Plus ones are only extended if indicated on your invitation.
1. Where will the ceremony and reception be held? Are they wheelchair accessible? Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Saint Clements Castle & Marina, 1931 Portland-Cobalt Rd, Portland, CT 06480. The venue is wheelchair accessible. 2. Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors? The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors. We recommend dressing accordingly, particularly for the grassy ceremony area. 3. What will the weather be like? August in Connecticut can be warm and humid, so we recommend light, breathable fabrics for outdoor events. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so consider bringing sunglasses and sunscreen. 4. What is the plan in case of inclement weather? In case of rain or extreme weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to a designated indoor space.
1. Will there be transportation to and from the venue? We will not be providing shuttle services. Guests are encouraged to use ride-share services for transportation to and from the venue. Public transportation is not available in the area. If you need assistance coordinating rides with other guests, let us know. 2. Is there parking available at the venue? Yes, on-site parking is available for guests. Overnight parking is also permitted provided you pick up the car before 12:00 PM the next day. Gates are only after 9:00 am to the venue 3. Have you reserved a room block for guests? Yes, a room block has been reserved at Inn at Middletown, located at 70 Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457. 1. What is the dress code? Cocktail/semi-formal attire is suggested. Please note that the ceremony area includes grassy terrain, so we recommend avoiding stiletto heels. 2. Are children welcome at the wedding? Yes, children are welcome, but please keep an eye on them throughout the event. We will have an activity table set up to help keep them entertained. Please mention if you are bringing kids and their names in the RSVP tab!
1: Do you have a wedding registry? We’re not using a traditional registry. Instead, we’ve set up a cash fund, which you can contribute to online —just note there may be a small processing fee. If you’d prefer to avoid that, you’re welcome to bring a card or check to the wedding and place it in our card box. Of course, your presence is the greatest gift, and we’re so grateful for your love and support in whatever form it comes!
1. What type of food will be served? We will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. There will be meat, fish, and Indian cuisine based vegan options available. Meal options will be sent with your invitation. 2. Will there be a cash bar or open bar? There will be an open bar from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
