Alex and Karime first met in 2015 as freshmen in high school. Karime had just moved to Addison and Alex couldn't help but wonder who this "new girl" was. They shared many classes with one another going into sophomore and junior year as well. A mutual friend asked Alex if he was interested in Karime, she did the same with Karime. Come to find out, they did in fact like each other. In the summer of 2018, Alex would frequently take Karime to the park and play games of basketball. Many sweet treats at DQ later, they finally became "official". They were each other's dates for senior year Homecoming and Prom. They both embarked to college at Elmhurst University where Alex continued to play football. They pursued their degrees in Marketing and Nursing and began working after May of 2023. Alex likes to note he graduated a semester early. On August 16th, 2024 Alex proposed to Karime at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The Garden he would take Karime for her birthday every year to see the Lightscape Show in December. Karime always wanted to see it in the summertime!
