After chatting for a good couple of weeks on Bumble, we finally went out for some coffee and cake, then perused a near by book shop in Futakotamagawa Station. It was a wonderful first date, and the station quickly became our favorite place to just hang out.

For our last vacation time in Japan, we went to a hot spring haven in the mountains. It was one of the only times we saw so much snow in Japan. The food and relaxation was wonderful after all the stress of finishing our last month teaching English. It was also partly Grant's birthday celebration - I even surprised him with a cake at the ryokan we were staying at. The night after his birthday we had an extra special dinner where we got engaged. And we finally get to be married in the presence of our friends and family! Can't wait to see you all, and hope you can join us!
