Andrew met Chelsea in 2014 at the University of Oklahoma, in Biology lab. They happened to sit next to each other on the first day of classes and were immediately paired up as lab partners. They got to know each other while doing experiments in class, studying in the library, and writing lab reports together. Eventually, he invited her over to his house for a homemade dinner, a movie, and a ton of laughs; that's when they realized they had a lot in common! Over the coming weeks, their relationship blossomed until Andrew asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend on October 15th, 2014.
In January of 2018, Chelsea started planning for Andrew's 26th birthday in February. They both agreed upon a nice dinner at their favorite restaurant and a Redbox movie for the evening at his house. Andrew's friends, Haley and Ronnie, jumped in soon after and wanted to help Chelsea plan a surprise party for Andrew after their planned dinner. Chelsea quickly made arrangements and invited guests. She loves surprises! The night of Andrew's birthday, they both dressed up, went to dinner, and headed back to his house as planned. Once they arrived, Andrew opened the door to the backyard for Chelsea, motioned for her to step outside, and said, "This night is actually for you!" Chelsea saw beautiful white twinkle lights tied to tiki torches that lit up the night, creating an isle that lead towards the middle of the backyard, with all her friends and parents holding giant, gold letter balloons that spelled out, "MARRY ME?" She immediately burst into tears as Andrew lead her down the isle, where he got down on one knee, told her how much he loved her, and asked her to marry him. Through joyful tears, she exclaimed, "YES!" Chelsea grabbed Andrew in a huge hug and her hand was shaking when he placed the ring on her finger. And now here we are, a wedding date is set and their next adventure about to begin...
