Brian and Stefanie were former neighborhood acquaintances, when they ran into each other on a quick grocery run a few years after Brian had moved... Stefanie passed Brian in the wine aisle - head down, looking something up on his phone. She kept walking, silently praying to stay under the radar and finish shopping fast. A few minutes later, they inevitably ran into each other near the registers and exchanged a polite “hello”. Brian not knowing about Stefanie’s divorce, mentioned he'd recently seen her husband - and so Stefanie explained. Brian instantly looked uncomfortable, and so Stefanie assuming she’d completely caught him off guard - gave him a friendly double tap on the arm, said “Good seeing you,” and went on her way to the checkout lane. Before she pulled out of the parking lot, Brian had sent her a message apologizing for his awkward reaction, and she in turn apologized for making him feel uncomfortable. That simple exchange turned into occasional check-ins, then into daily conversations, and eventually a plan to meet for dinner. The night before dinner, they ended up meeting up for what was supposed to be a quick drink — the rest is history... A year later they bought a home together and blended their families together. Almost a year after moving in, Brian got down on one knee and did something he'd swore to himself he'd never do again - which brings us here. They plan to exchange vows in private ceremony with their children and immediate families, and look forward to celebrating with you after!
