ABOUT Welcome to Los Angeles—this is a time for singing and dancing! Traditionally, the Jaggo served as a way to announce the wedding and invite guests to the festivities. This vibrant and joyous evening involves women gathering to sing traditional folk songs about marriage, and family and friends coming together to bond, bless the couple, and stay up late dancing. ATTIRE Wear vibrant and festive colors. The grass can be soft, so consider garden-friendly shoes. Ladies: Lehenga, Sharara, Indo-western gowns, Long flowy dresses, Florals Men: Kurtas, Bandis (vests)

ABOUT The morning begins with the Baraat, a joyful wedding procession that accompanies the groom and his family to the Gurdwara. After a formal greeting between families during the Milni ceremony, guests are welcomed with breakfast. Soon after, everyone gathers in the main hall for the Anand Karaj, the Sikh wedding ceremony. The morning concludes with a blessed Guru Ka Langer (Lunch) served at the Gurdwara. ATTIRE Modesty is key! All guests are required to remove their shoes and wear head coverings. We will provide a rumaal (handkerchief) for guests without turbans to cover their heads; no hats or beanies are allowed. Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or red. Ladies: Salwar kameez, Anarkali, Long tunic with loose trousers, Dupatta or scarf to cover the head Men: Suit, Kurta, Bandi (vest), Long-sleeve button down with pants
