As most people know, they met on Hinge! It all started when Sahil came across Pooja's profile and liked a picture on it. Pooja would usually go through her potential matches (men who already liked her profile) to make her life easier.......then pops up Sahil's profile! She thought he was cute and looked pretty normal (americanized). Sahil then received a notification that she liked his profile as well and decided to reach out. Initially, he asked to meet over drinks, but she ghosted his message because she wasn't sure if she was up for it. Sahil asked her again and this time for her phone number as well. She had responded and explained how she was doing dry January. Knowing Sahil, he became very accommodating and suggested to meet over a hot chocolate at the Nutella Cafe. On the day of, Pooja showed up early and Sahil was late......very unusual for the both of them! They had officially met for their first date on 1/21/24 and spent 5 hours talking.........and the rest was history.
