We're Getting Married!

Sahara and Michael matched on Bumble on May 16th, 2020, during the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. Sahara had been sent back home from school, and Michael was just starting out as a mechanic. After a few days of texting back and forth, Sahara and Michael decided it was finally time to meet in person and go on a date. With most places closed due to the pandemic, their first date was a simple drive around, spending time talking and getting to know each other. From that day forward, Sahara and Michael began seeing each other almost every day—bringing lunches to each other at work and spending time together at each other’s homes. Their first official date was a drive-in movie showing of *Trolls 2*, where Michael asked Sahara to be his girlfriend on May 25th, 2020. As time went on, Sahara and Michael continued building their relationship while Sahara returned to school, transitioning into long distance but still making it a priority to see each other every weekend.
