FAQs

We are sure you have lots of questions about our destination wedding! Please check out the FAQs below, and if we haven’t covered something, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sage or Sam.
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by January, 16th 2026 so we can confirm numbers for accommodation, transfers and catering.

Question

Photography & Social Media

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. At the reception, you’re welcome to capture memories and we can’t wait to see your photos! If you do take photos of us at the reception, please wait to post them on social media until we’ve shared them first. Thank you for helping us share these special moments in our own way!

Question

When should I arrive and leave?

Answer

Check-in at Uluwatu Cottages is on Thursday, 16th July 2026 and check-out is Sunday, 19th July 2026.

Question

Is accommodation covered?

Answer

Yes! Accommodation for all guests has been arranged and covered at Uluwatu Cottages (our wedding venue).

Question

Can I stay longer in Bali?

Answer

Absolutely! You’re welcome to arrive earlier or stay on after the wedding to make a holiday out of it - just book additional accomodation.

Question

Are meals included?

Answer

Breakfast for two people per room is included with your stay. On the wedding night, there will be live food stalls with options for everyone (including vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free choices). Other meals (outside of the reception) will be at your own leisure. Details for the recovery lunch are still TBD.

Question

What if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

Vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options will be available at the food stalls. If you have other specific needs, please let us know in advance.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome Drinks & Recovery Day: No dress code - come as you are and stay comfortable. Wedding Day: Cocktail attire with a Bali twist! Flowing sundresses, breathable fabrics and linen are perfect. Please avoid wearing brown. Shoes: We’ll be on grass, so ladies, consider wedges, flats or sandals rather than stilettos for comfort.

Question

Will there be transport to the cottages?

Answer

We’re working with Uluwatu Cottages and our wedding planner to provide shuttle transfers for check-in and check-out, but this will depend on flight times and numbers. Please share your flight details with us and we’ll do our best to organise transfers, but it may not be possible for everyone. Private Drivers, taxis and Grab are also easy to use from the airport.

Question

What’s the weather like in July?

Answer

July is typically dry in Bali, with warm days and cooler evenings. Light, breathable clothing and sunscreen are recommended.
