Our Day!

Our story began through a connection only God could orchestrate. Sage's grandpa, Kenny Baum, and Connor's dad, Henry Vicary, served together on a board in Illinois around fifteen years ago. When Kenny realized his granddaughter and Henry's son were both attending Grand Canyon University, he connected them, originally as a simple business connection. Sage reached out first on Instagram. Connor had photography opportunities for her, but life moved on and months passed without a reply. Months later, she reached back out, and soon after, Connor needed senior photos. Sage was the photographer. Connor was the client. God was quietly at work. Sage remembers that day clearly. Connor picked her up in his white jeep, and later that evening her mom, Keri Roth, asked her how it was going. Sage replied, "I'm going to marry this boy!!!" Connor asked Sage to capture his speech during his graduation. She did, and afterwards, she told him not to pay her. He replied, "I owe you. Can I take you out to dinner?!" From there they had their first date, then a few more, and then they began dating on May 27th, 2024! Connor proposed on July 25th, 2025! We are endlessly grateful for the Lord's perfect timing and His beautiful plan. We joyfully anticipate the start of our marriage and are so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you! Praise God!!
