FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! To keep our event within capacity of the venue, we kindly request that you only bring a plus one if they are included in your invitation/RSVP

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our venue has a limited capacity, and we want to ensure we can celebrate with all of our invited guests. We kindly request that the ceremony and reception be an adults-only event. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional. We'd love to see our guests in their finest formal attire, such as a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, a tuxedo, or a dark suit.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. We recommend arriving about 15-30 minutes early (3pm-3:15pm) to find your seat and settle in. Late arrivals will not be able to enter the ceremony.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, Deer Park Manor.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We would love for you to capture photos before and after the ceremony as you celebrate our special day. However, we kindly ask that you put away all devices during the ceremony itself. This allows everyone to be fully present in the moment. We've hired an amazing photographer, Elly, to beautifully capture our special day and we'll be happy to share the professional photos with you after the wedding.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing an open bar from cocktail hour through the cake cutting. After that, it will become a cash bar for the remainder of the evening.

Question

What should I expect following the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a cocktail hour inside the reception area in time for photos with our family and wedding party and also time to mingle with our friends. We will then have dinner, cake, special dances and then we (especially the bride) invite you to join us on the dance floor until 10:30. Bring those dancing shoes!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

At this moment, we are hoping to hold our ceremony outside and the reception inside. April is the time of year for higher increases in rain for the forecast. We are keeping our fingers crossed for clear skies.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the meal!
