Neither of us are changing our last names, so we kindly ask that any cards/gifts addressed to us respect this, thank you :)
Please arrive 15–30 minutes before the start of the ceremony so that you may choose your seating.
An Orthodox ceremony consists of a Betrothal and a Wedding. It will be 45-60 minutes, and involves Scripture reading, chanted songs, and a lot of incense. We ask that you please keep your phone silenced and tucked away. ~ There will be bags available with quiet activities for children, if you would like. ~ Should the ceremony become overwhelming for either you or your child, please feel free to step into the narthex or descend the stairs. ~ Masks will be available for those concerned about incense intolerance. We hope that you will enjoy our wedding, even if it is a new experience for you!
Semi-formal/church attire is good. Wear comfortable shoes!
Parking will be available in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, however, it is limited. All those who can, please choose to park at Walnut Grove Elementary, northwest of Holy Trinity. They have graciously allowed their lot to be used for church overflow parking. Please plan for 6-10 minutes of walking from the lot to the church. THANK YOU!!!
Both venues are indoor and have air conditioning. Both spaces are wheelchair/walker accessible as well.
There will be a soda truck and a coffee/latte bar upon reception arrival. At 5:30, we will be having a spaghetti dinner. Cupcakes to follow.
There is a gluten-free option on your reservation. If you have a further food allergy, please contact 414-418-9917 to discuss.
If you notice an error, such as your name misspelled, please text 414-418-9917. We want to get it right. Thanks!!
