WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Please see our schedule for the dress code for each event. It will be cold so bring a jacket.

DO I NEED TO BE TESTED FOR COVID?
Answer
Yes, please get a PCR test done the day before the first event and try to refrain from going out 2 days before in order to make sure everyone has a safe and covid free event. If you feel sick, as much as we would love to celebrate with you but make your health a priority.

I’VE NEVER BEEN TO AN INDIAN WEDDING BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Answer
Traditionally, Indian weddings tend to be large and span over a couple of days. Although each region of India has its own specific customs, the general concept is the same – it’ll be a Big Fat Indian Wedding, filled with vibrant colors, music, and plenty of food and dancing. Although family members and close friends may have a role, the remainder of the guests are invited to sit back and enjoy.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL THERE BE?
Answer
We often say that the best part of an Indian wedding is the food. There will be a wide variety of dishes with vegetarian, vegan and Jain options at each of the events. The food will be served buffet style, so that guests will have the option to choose what they’d like to eat. Please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

WHAT ABOUT WEDDING GIFTS? DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING REGISTRY?

During this special moment in our lives, your presence at our wedding is more than enough to make our day. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are kindly requesting no boxed gifts, which is a familiar Indian wedding custom.

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Answer
While the baraat will be outside, every other event will be inside.

IS IT OKAY TO TAKE PICTURES WITH OUR PHONES AND CAMERAS DURING THE WEDDING?
Answer
Yes it is, but please do not block our photographers and videographers. Please refrain from taking pictures and videos during the bride's entry to enjoy that moment to the fullest.

ARE MASKS REQUIRED? WILL THEY BE PROVIDED?
Answer
Masks are not required or provided but please do not shy away from wearing masks if that makes you feel more comfortable.
