Walking distance from The Saguaro! Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West celebrates the art, history and unique stories of the 19 states comprising the American West. The rotating exhibitions feature hundreds of Western artworks and rare historic artifacts on loan from some of the world's foremost collectors and institutions.
We love this museum. The collection of over 15,000 musical instruments and associated objects includes examples from nearly 200 countries and territories, representing every inhabited continent. Some larger countries such as the United States, Mexico, India, China, and Brazil have multiple displays with subsections for different types of ethnic, folk, and tribal music.
Walking distance from The Saguaro. Built in 1933, the Old Adobe Mission is the oldest Catholic Church in Scottsdale.
Craig and Deb's fave. Pizzeria Bianco has been rated as the best pizza in the United States. In 2003, Chris Bianco won the James Beard Foundation Award for best Southwest Chef (the only pizza chef to have won a regional award) and the restaurant received a nearly perfect Zagat score of 29 in 2000.
Fun new hotspot - Toca Madera re-imagines traditional Mexican cuisine by taking a modern approach pairing locally-sourced ingredients with bold flavors centered around an elevated cocktail program.

Lots of western stores, boutiques, and smaller art galleries if you cruise around Old Town. Ask the Saguaro about renting bikes or golf carts to explore the area. Make sure to stop in the Rusty Spur Saloon for a beer.
