Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the ceremony. This allows everyone ample time to park, find their seats, and settle in comfortably before we begin.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We encourage guests to wear suits, cocktail dresses, and formal gowns.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate everyone with a plus one, space limitations prevent us from extending this option to all guests. If your invitation includes a 'plus one' designation, please feel free to bring a guest.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love and adore all the kids in our lives but we have decided that our wedding will be adult-only. We hope you can arrange for childcare for the day, as unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate children at the event.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please look at the 'Travel' tab on our website for the hotel we have blocked with special rates. There are also a number of other hotels in the area that guests are welcome to book with if that is preferred.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please feel free to let Danny or Rachel know of any food restrictions or allergies so that we can relay this information to The Grand.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We cannot speak on behalf of all hotels in the area, however, our hotel block with The Marriott Courtyard Wayne Fairfield does offer a shuttle to transport guest to and from The Grand.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony, there is a parking garage directly across the street from the cathedral on Grand St that is reserved for guests. For the reception there is valet parking.
