It was a hot and humid summer night in the little town of Mount Olive in North Carolina. It was Saffron’s first college party with her teammates, and their first party with the men’s lacrosse team. Tyler saw Saffron standing by the air conditioner and knew this was his opportunity. The only way he thought to get her attention was to go into the bathroom, make his hair look sweaty with water, and stand by her and the air conditioner (so Tyler says lol). Following a couple weeks, Tyler asked Saffron to be his girlfriend. Following a couple months, on October 19th, Tyler first said I love you. Following a good ol nine years, on September 2nd, Tyler asked Saffron to marry him. This engagement has been a long time coming, and we are so glad to celebrate it with you all. We’re getting married!
