Why Maui?

Answer

Do you really have to ask? Not only is Maui one of the most beautiful places on earth, but since we both have a large number of people travelling for this shindig, why NOT Maui? Also, Saem wanted fresh spam musubis, and this was the only way to make it happen.

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

Amazing! Lets all think the great weather into existence! Typically winters on the west coast of Maui are sunny and beautiful. There shouldn’t be much rain, but there’s always the chance. Temperature around this time of year is typically between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit (21-27 degrees Celsius, for the weirdos.)

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are many options for lodging on maui. Most cost efficient is typically to rent an AirBnB or VRBO apartment or house. Alternatively there are a variety of resorts at many price points. See the Travel page for suggestions. In terms of location, we recommend staying in Lahaina, Kanaapali, or Kapalua as they are the closest to the venue. We recommend staying on the western coast of Maui as that is where a majority of events will take place.

Question

When should we arrive/depart the island?

Answer

Feel free to stay as short or as long as you want! A majority of the wedding party will stay from Wednesday, December 5th to the following Wednesday, December 12th. If you are around during this time we will certainly have some activities lined up which anyone is more than welcome to join!
