What are some things to know about the couple?

Answer

Becca and Saeed met at the University of Virginia (UVA) during undergrad! They are proudly the 3rd generation of Schellings who have met their spouses at UVA :) They have since moved to New Haven, CT where Becca is completing her PhD in Pharmacology at Yale. Saeed is doing software engineering for rural power outage recovery.

What is the correct terminology to use for the couple during the event?

- Bride & Spouse-To-Be OR Marrying Couple (Not Bride and Groom) - Newlyweds (Not Husband and Wife) - Mrs. (Soon Dr.!) Schelling and Mx. Razavi (Not Mrs. Schelling and Mr. Razavi OR Mr. & Mrs. Razavi) - Hers & Theirs (Not Hers & His) - Becca's Bridesmaids & Saeed's Attendants (Not Saeed's Groomsmen) - Maid of Honor & Head Attendant (Not Best Man)

I'm coming from out of town. What is the best way for me to get there?

Answer

Driving from the east coast is probably easiest and best, as Lyndhurst is located near major highways. If you need to fly, Westchester County Airport is a regional airport serviced by Delta, American, Jet Blue, and others. However, flights will probably require a connection. The major NY airports are LaGuardia, located in Queens, NY, and John F. Kennedy Airport, also located in Queens. All airports have rental car facilities. If you are taking a train, Amtrak goes into Penn Station in Manhattan. You will need to transfer to Grand Central Terminal to take MetroNorth to Tarrytown, NY. The Tarrytown train station is a 5 minute drive from Lyndhurst.
