Who can I bring with me?

Answer

We have decided to host an adults-only celebration. For guests who are parents - we hope you will take this as an opportunity for a parents’ night out! For adult guests, please limit attendance to only those who are listed on your physical invitation.

What should I wear? (Gentlemen)

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire to complement the environment of our celebration. This dress code asks gentlemen to wear dark suits with neckties. Dark gray and navy suits are perfect! We kindly ask gentlemen to avoid wearing denim, khakis, or suits of non-matching jackets and trousers. What should I wear? (Ladies)

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire to complement the environment of our celebration. This dress code asks ladies to wear floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, or elevated evening wear. Suggested colors for ladies include classic neutrals and rich jewel tones such as black, charcoal, navy, deep green, burgundy, and metallics, to list a few. Please avoid casual fabrics, loud patterns, or bright/neon colors. The bride respectfully asks that guests avoid white, ivory, cream, or any shades that may photograph as white. Are the Ceremony and Reception at two different locations?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony will take place at First Baptist Church Lufkin, while the reception will be held at the Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches. The drive between the church and hotel is approximately 20 minutes. We hope this gives everyone ample time to make the commute before carrying on with festivities!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly asks that guests begin their commute to the Fredonia Hotel as quickly as possible to allow the wedding party to begin their last minute photos. A social hour with a bar and appetizers will be available for guests to enjoy beginning at 5pm. The wedding party will be joining guests at the Fredonia immediately following photographs.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We look forward to seeing guests at the ceremony and reception!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive no sooner than an hour before the ceremony begins. Thank you for your understanding.

Answer

Both the church and Fredonia offer free parking.

How do I book under the room block?

Answer
