When and where are we eloping?

We are eloping on July 16, 2025 in the San Juan mountains of Ouray, Colorado with our immediate families!

What is an elopement party? What should I expect?

Answer

This elopement party/reception is a way for us to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family. We want to share our new marriage and share all of the bests aspects of a wedding reception with you all- eating, drinking, and dancing!

Is there parking available at The Rail Line?

Answer

Yes! Rail Line offers free, off-street parking with our private lot adjacent to the tracks and venue. The entrance ramp to drive up to the lot is located on S. Clinton Street, at the front entrance on the North side of the Clinton Plaza apartment tower. Look for signage for both JC Commons Parking and Rail Line parking. When heading from the North through Armory Square, slow down after passing the W. Jefferson St. intersection and look for flagpoles and signage in front of Clinton Plaza, turn and proceed up the ramp. Their block on S. Clinton St. is now a 2-way road. If you're coming from the South, the parking ramp is located after you pass our building, at the front entrance of Clinton Plaza apartments, on the North side. Turn left at the signage and proceed UP the ramp to enter our elevated parking lot behind the apartment tower. Please Note: The parking lot at street-level on the other side of their fence is for Clinton Plaza residents ONLY. Rail Line guests are not permitted to park there and the apartment manager may tow vehicles. Armory Square also offers plenty of parking garages and lots as well. Behind the MOST there is a tunnel entrance to the Trolley Lot. Near the tunnel entrance look for the stairs next to the old train station and take the stairs up to our parking lot and building. Ubers are available around the area and it is a very short walk to some of the hotels listed on our website. Please be responsible, no drinking and driving!

Will the party be indoor or outdoors?

Answer

Both! There is both outdoor and indoor seating, weather permitting. There are fire pits outside as well as outdoor games on the rooftop patio.

What is the dress code for the reception?

Answer

Cocktail attire please!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We are looking forward to having our guests relax and enjoy an evening of celebration—our wedding will be an adult-only occasion. We politely request no children at this private event.

What type of food will you be serving?

Answer

We'll be serving appetizers at cocktail hour followed by a wood fired pizza food truck with salad and an array of pizza options (vegetarian options available). There will be dessert and a late night snack. Please note this is a casual dinner and is not a sit down, served dinner. There will be tables inside and outside, standard tables as well as high top and bar seating. Grab wherever you would like to sit and sit with whoever you would like to!
