Average temperature on the coast this time of year is low 70s— bring some warmer clothes or a blanket for night time on the beach!
Due to Oregon beach laws, the ceremony at Short Sands Beach is limited to a small number of people. Because of this, only immediate family and maid of honor/best man will be attending the ceremony. Please only attend what your RSVP link invites you to!
Since we do have a permit for large gatherings at Cannon Beach, everybody invited will be attending the reception bonfire! Feel free to bring a +1.
We have planned a large bonfire— complete with string lights, tiki torches, speakers, beach/yard games, snacks and beverages! Afterwards, we have a large Airbnb right in town that people can head to if we’d like to keep the party going, or we can stay on the beach til the sun comes up!
The bonfire will be at Tolovana Beach State Recreation Site in Cannon Beach (45.8727409248615, -123.96046850030253). Park in the large parking lot on the corner of Warren Way and Hemlock Street. The bonfire will be set up on the beach close to the stairs. Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Arch Cape, and Seaside are all within 15-30 minutes of each other. So wherever you stay you shouldn’t have to travel far. Just make sure you have sober transportation because Ubers are slim!
We wanted to have our wedding on a Friday night. This way everybody traveling can take the weekend to enjoy all the Oregon Coast has to offer! We’ve listed some of our favorite spots and activities on the Things To Do tab. Everybody should feel free to join us during our shenanigans the rest of the weekend, or to do your own thing! *We would love to have a night out on the town in Seaside on Saturday for whoever wants to come along! More details to come.
