Our journey began in Florida, though our paths started quite a few miles apart. Sadie was born in November 1998 in Overland Park, Kansas, and made her way to the sunshine state in 2014. Jimmy, born in November 1992 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, found his way to Florida a few years later in 2018. Little did we know that moving to the same state would eventually lead us to a shared future, all thanks to a chance encounter in a retail shop. We officially met in 2018 while working together at Men’s Wearhouse. While the setting was professional, our dynamic was a bit more “spirited” at the start. To put it simply, we initially butted heads a little, perhaps it was a mix of strong personalities or just the pressure of matching the perfect ties to the perfect suits. However, as the weeks turned into months, those spirited debates turned into genuine conversations and shared jokes. After a few months of working side by side, the friction shifted into a romance that started to form naturally. We realized the person who challenged us the most was also the person who understood us the best. What began as a workplace rivalry blossomed into a deep, supportive love that proved we were the perfect fit. By the end of the year, we started dating and got engaged on September 19, 2025. Our wedding day marks the beginning of the next chapter of our story together. We are so grateful for the journey that brought a girl from Kansas and a guy from North Carolina together in Florida, and we can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of you
