FAQs

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Street parking will be provided. If you plan to drink, please make accommodations for an Uber or a safe, designated driver. You can park on Placita Becal, N Calle Matamoros, N Placita Fresnillo, or N Wilmot Rd. Please be mindful of the residents. We will have flashlights for your ride back.

Question

Sunday Brunch

Answer

Brunch is at Sadie's parent's house in Oro Valley (14421 N. Rocky Highlands Dr., Oro Valley, AZ 85755). We will be serving breakfast in the morning, so come hungry. Getting into the Stone Canyon Gate: Please tell the front gate you are part of the Sullivan/Winch residents (Lot 140). The front gate is located off of E Rancho Vistoso BLVD, turn left onto Tortolita Mountain Circle; you will see the Stone Canyon Sign. Parking: Please park on Rocky Highlands Dr. on the left side of the street behind the other cars (mailbox side). Stone Canyon does not allow cars to park on both sides of the street. There is further parking up the hill behind the large boulder outcrops. Please do not park on the main road - Tortolita Mountain Circle. Thanks!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is semi-formal and will take place outside. In October, the temperature ranges from 80°-90° with a slight breeze at night. Our festivities will take place on the back patio, so almost all shoes are welcome (maybe not stilettos). Please pack a pair of sunglasses!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest and hope to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, the bride and groom request that this be an adults-only reception.

Question

Is it better to fly into Phoenix or Tucson?

Answer

Phoenix Sky Harbor is significantly more affordable. The two-hour drive to Tucson is easy, and a Starbucks is located halfway through the drive in Casa Grande. Tucson International is easier to fly into but can be more expensive. This is a smaller airport, so the wait time for TSA and baggage claim is much shorter.

Question

Recommendations for saving funds on travel!

Answer

October is a low-priced season in Tucson! Right now, the weather is amazing in Arizona, so things are more expensive. Book your flights on a weekday (Tues-Thurs). Flights are priced higher when buying on the weekend. Look at booking your hotel this summer when prices can be a bit lower. Southwest Airlines has a Phoenix hub, so their flights can be cheaper. Stay with your fam in an Airbnb! Prices are lower than hotels. AAA membership offers awesome hotel discounts!

Question

Didn't Glen and Sadie already get married?

Answer

Yes, you would be correct. We eloped in Belleville, IL, on November 10, 2022. We look forward to continuing the celebration with you all in October.
