The Peaks Resort & Spa
We have arranged for discounted rates of $439++ per night at The Peaks Resort & Spa. It is important to note that if you want to golf, you MUST stay at The Peaks, as the course is private. The Peaks is Telluride’s premiere full-service resort hotel. The property includes 160 beautifully appointed guest rooms including 32 suites, plus 30 two, three, four and five bedroom condos and cabins – all with astounding mountain views. The resort is the home to the Telluride Golf Club for tee in/tee out access in the summer. Onsite dining includes Altezza, the Great Room, Bean Cafe, and the Deep End Grill (summer only), as well as in-room private dining. The Spa at The Peaks, at 42,000 sq. ft., is the largest spa in Colorado. The Spa features 32 treatment rooms and a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating signature treatments. The Spa also encompasses a full service salon, fully-equipped fitness center including Pilates and yoga studios, certified fitness instructors providing a variety of private and group classes, three-lane lap pool, indoor climbing wall, gender specific steam rooms, saunas and Roman tubs and hot tubs, and indoor/outdoor heated pool with Telluride's only indoor water slide. You will not want to miss out on the best views in the Rocky Mountains. The Palmyra and Great Room Decks, adjacent to the full-service Palmyra Bar, add over 3,000 square feet of the best happy hour/après ski vistas you will ever enjoy. Their unique mid-mountain location and western facing views ensure long afternoon sunsets with unobstructed views of Colorado’s (and on into Utah) mountain majesty.
Flight
Montrose Airport
The Telluride/Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the primary airport for Telluride. Guests can take advantage of 14 direct flights from 11 major U.S. cities to the Telluride/Montrose Regional Airport, a scenic 65 miles away from Telluride. If you are flying into Montrose Airport (which we recommend due to its proximity and reliability), you should arrange for a shuttle with Telluride Express or Mountain Limo. They have door to door, shared-ride and private accommodations for you to choose from. There are also car rental services on site at the airport, but please note that parking is limited in Telluride, and that there is a fee to park almost everywhere. Cars are not necessary because we will be providing transportation to wedding events and there is a free gondola that runs between the Town of Telluride (very small, walkable town) and Mountain Village.
Flight
Telluride Airport
The Telluride Airport sits atop Deep Creek Mesa and is North America's highest commercial airport. Flights into this airport are via commercial jet (Denver Air Connections) and private jet aircraft. Airlines also codeshare with United and American Airlines if you are flying from an area other than Denver. At times, due to weather, flights may be diverted to area airports 90 minutes away or cancelled outright. Should this occur, the airlines will provide ground transportation to your lodging. If you fly into Telluride Airport, you should arrange for a shuttle with Telluride Express or Mountain Limo. They have door to door, shared-ride and private accommodations for you to choose from. There are also car rental services on site at the airport, but please note that parking is limited in Telluride, and that there is a fee to park almost everywhere.
