Our Wedding Reception

Nothing is more discouraging on a dating app than seeing all the people you never want to meet while the good ones become more and more like unicorns--mythical creatures; however, Sadie discovered Dani's profile and was instantly obsessed, yet Dani assumed Sadie was lost. Despite that, Dani set the match in motion. After not hearing anything for what seemed like an eternity (in actuality only a couple of hours), Sadie decided to initiate the conversation. They communicated for a few days and decided to meet in person to put the chemistry to the test. Dani and her dog, Moose, drove the hour long trek from Sherman to Dallas to meet at Katy Trail Ice House for their first date! After ending the night eight hours later, it was clear that their meeting was orchestrated by a much greater power than chance. Although Dani did state on the third date, "I'm going to marry you", they wanted to rise above the U-Haul stereotype, and their time is FINALLY here two-and-a-half years later!

On October 10, 2023, we will be eloping in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. It will be an intimate ceremony: the two of us and the photographer. We are overjoyed to give you a glimpse into our wedding day, overwhelmed by your unconditional support throughout our journey, and eager to celebrate with you at the reception.
