We’re getting married!!!

For those of you who don’t know, Cory is from Minnesota and I am from Texas. We “met” on Facebook in May of 2020. It all happened because Fr. McKenna (the Priest that offers the mass in Texas where my family attends) was friends with Cory and I on Facebook. On May 13th 2020 Cory sent me a friend request and a message shortly after to get to know me. We talked every day and after getting to know each other pretty well he asked me to be his girlfriend on the 21st of August 2020. Soon after we started dating we planned out first trip to meet in person. On December 26th 2020 he flew to Texas! I was so nervous and excited to meet him in real life! It was crazy, I was literally speechless. He stayed in Texas with my family for a couple days (not long enough) We went to an escape room, axe throwing and a winery! Before he left we planned on me going to Minnesota in May of 2021, but of course I couldn’t wait that long so I surprised him with the help of his wonderful mom in February, for our 6 months together. I wasn’t able to stay too long and unfortunately had to go back to Texas, but with knowing I would be back in May to spend more time with him was exciting! In May our parents finally met, my parents flew up to Minnesota with me on mothers day weekend and they stayed for a few days. Cory and I went to the zoo which was a lot of fun and he even took me bowling (which some of you will know how amazing his bowling skills are). I took a couple more trips up to see him that summer then in August 2021 he came to Texas for our 1 year anniversary! We went to A LOT of antique stores and we even went to Oklahoma with my family. From August to December was hard, felt like forever. In December I flew back to Minnesota to spend time together before Christmas and that is when Cory proposed!💍🥰 Now I get to marry the love of my life this May! I made the big move from Texas to Minnesota at the beginning of January 2022 and we can’t wait to start this journey together! ❤️
