Wedding Party

We are deeply grateful for each of these wonderful people who will stand beside us on our wedding day. We hope you enjoy reading a little of why they mean so much to us.

Jamison Haguewood

Best Man

Jamison is my eldest brother and my Best Man, but he has been so much more than that to me. By the Lord’s mercy and grace, He has shaped our hearts, transforming us from childhood rivals into brothers and true friends in Christ. I love him deeply. I look to him as a mentor in patience, kindness, and intentionality, and his steady presence has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. The way he cares for his sons with such tenderness and intentional love makes me excited to become a father one day. His devotion to his wife and his desire to provide for her with every sweat of his brow is a picture of the kind of husband I hope and pray to be. Watching him live out his calling with humility and strength has shaped my understanding of manhood more than he knows. Older brothers who love as deeply as Jamison are rare. I am profoundly, joyfully grateful for him. Thank you, Jamison.

Hannah McAllister

Maid of Honor

Hannah Elizabeth. This girl and I go wayyy back. Hannah has been my built-in best friend for as long as I can remember. She is beautiful, dedicated, godly, talented, and so much fun. I have always admired her work ethic and the way she applies herself to learning and mastering new skills. Hannah is an incredibly talented musician and baker. She is always serving others. Whether it's making a wedding cake, slinging coffees, or helping a little kid learn how to play a board game, Hannah is always the first to say, "I can do that!" Possibly my favorite thing about Hannah though, is that she is an amazing friend. She loves deeply, listens well, and points others to Christ. I can't imagine a more honorable maiden to stand by me on our wedding day. :)

Jamie Haguewood

Groomsman

My father, Jamie, has never let a bill go past due for our family. The security he has given me as a young man, knowing he is steadfastly faithful to my mother, that he would never let us go without a meal, and that he would do whatever it takes to ensure we have a home to return to for rest, has shaped me more than he knows. His quiet consistency has been a shelter throughout my life. It is one of the greatest honors of my life to have a man of his character standing beside me as a mentor. Thank you, dad.

Abby McAllister

Bridesmaid

Abigail Maizie. When I think of Abby, the first word that comes to mind is "sparkle". Abby makes everything *an experience*, in the best way! When we were very young, we did not see eye to eye on much of anything, but I have been so thankful for our differences as we've grown. Abby keeps me light, and her creativity and joy are such a blessing to me. Her cheerful disposition, clever sense of humor, and quickness to laugh, are a gift to me and everyone around her. She is a talented violinist and she sings beautifully. Abby is also a deep thinker whose perception and thoughtful reflections are a grace to those who hear them.

Thad Brummel

Groomsman

For three years, Thad and I have braved the wilds of academics, workstations, and campus events at College of the Ozarks together as roommates. I have learned as much from our late‑night conversations on faith, economics, the human condition, history, and finance as I have from any professor. I will forever strive to squat as many pounds as you, though I am not optimistic that day will ever come. More than anything, I am grateful for your correction, your intentionality, your commitment to the truth, and to the Truth. Thank you, Thad.

Ava McAllister

Bridesmaid

Ava Lucille. While we are often mistaken for each other now, there was a time when she was my Ava-baby. She was the first little sister I remember having momma bear feelings over (when I was six years old.) :) One of my favorite pictures of Ava is from when she's about 4 years old. She is wearing a flowery tulle skirt with a matching t shirt and is holding a frog she found outside. It's such a fun look at her personality. She is ever the beautiful lady, but not afraid to get her hands a little dirty. Ava is a beauty inside and out. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and one of the hardest workers I know. She makes the world a more beautiful place with her watercolor paintings, hair and makeup skills, and nurturing heart.

Gideon Haguewood

Groomsman

Gideon, my younger brother, is both a gifted musician and a skilled soda‑jerk. Wherever he goes, he seems to gather a crowd of friends and acquaintances, because he cares deeply about every person around him. He draws people in like a human magnet. Though he is young, his capacity for caring about others, nurturing relationships, showing generosity, and loving people well reaches far beyond his years. When I grow up, I want to be like Gideon. Seeing these qualities in him has challenged me toward greater maturity in my own relationships and in the way I care for others. Thank you, Gideon.

Mallory McAllister

Bridesmaid

Mallory Jane. My tallest little sister. Mallory has a tender heart, the most gorgeous curly hair, and is always down for a good time. Some of my favorite memories with Mallory include jamming out to "Hamilton" while on road trips, going for early morning coffee dates, and laying her down for her naps when she was a baby. She was the sweetest baby, with the best chubby cheeks, and she would just melt when you cuddled her. Mallory has an eye for seeing a need and filling it and takes great joy in helping those around her. She also gives the best hugs! She is a blessing to everyone around her, and I can't wait to see how the Lord uses her giftings in the future.

Marscel Thomas

Groomsman

Marscel is my first brother‑in‑law, the husband of my sister Emma, and the father of three of my favorite little friends. He asks honest questions and gives real, thoughtful advice to the people he cares about, and I have been blessed to be on the receiving end of many of those conversations. I have also had the privilege of watching his deeply intentional relationship with my sister, both before and after their marriage. His openness, honesty, and unwavering commitment to her will remain an example to me of what a healthy marriage and family should be. Thank you, Marscel.

Lucy Blunt

Bridesmaid

Lucy and I have been friends for most of our lives. I still remember the first time we talked to each other at church. From the days of going ice skating with our families and making music videos with our sisters, to first jobs, college classes, and everything in between, Lucy has been a steady friend. She has been a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and someone to laugh with. Lucy always encouraged me to try new things and trust the Lord's timing and leading in my life. She is a beautiful, talented, godly, capable young woman who is a great encouragement to me and everyone around her. I am so proud to have her by my side!

Matt Morgart

Groomsman

Matt, my second brother‑in‑law and fellow Microsoft Excel enthusiast, is a living example of faithfulness. Through loss and suffering, joy and celebration, his response is always the same: “All glory be to Christ.” When those seasons arrive in my own life, I know I can go to Matt, and he will point me to Him, the One who leads us “further up and further in.” He is a powerful ally to have in the arsenal of spiritual warfare. Thank you, Matt.

Haylee Sitz

Bridesmaid

Haylee. My sweet-spirited, tons of fun, Corner Cup bestie. From the early days of polite conversation to Podcast Tuesdays, what started out as a coworker acquaintance turned into a treasured friendship. We bonded over the beautiful chaos of the coffee shop, a desire to glorify the Lord with every part of our lives, and our mutual love of espresso, matcha, and all things moderately crunchy. Haylee and I have walked through many of life's ups and downs together over the last few years and I am so grateful for her love, support, and friendship in good times and bad. She is a ray of sunshine, and I am so thankful for her!

Luke McAllister

Groomsman

Sadie’s brother, Luke, has protected and cared for her for many years, and I am deeply grateful for the way he has loved her long before I ever entered her life. His devotion to his local church has continually moved me. Even while living four hours away, he drives late into the night so he can return home to his family and still arrive in time to lead the people of God in worship. That kind of consistency, sacrifice, and quiet faithfulness speaks volumes about the man he is. His example reminds me of what it looks like to hold tightly to the things that matter most. Your life is a gift. Thank you, Luke.

Abi McAllister

Bridesmaid

Abi and I have known each other almost all of our lives. I have always admired her heart for the Lord and for the church, her love of theology and ability to read SO many books, her mad volleyball skills, and her ability to get. stuff. done. She has always been an example to me of living life and loving others whole-heartedly, even when it's hard. Watching her live out her faith with simple obedience and love, while trusting the Lord to take care of the outcome, has challenged me to grow in my walk with Christ. I am so blessed to call her my sister-in-law. It is a joy to have her as an older sister and dear friend.

Samuel Truby

Groomsman

Sam and I met while brushing our teeth in the bathroom of Youngman Hall during the second six weeks of summer at College of the Ozarks’ SWEP program. He would go on to become Thad’s Character Camp brother and a close friend to both of us. Sam’s desire to live a life of fruitfulness, depth, and meaning is evident in every conversation he has. There is nothing shallow about him; that attribute simply does not exist in his character. His thoughtfulness about life gives me pause again and again. His relationships with the students he serves on campus are legendary. I hope that one day I can learn to be as considerate and intentional as Samuel Truby. Thank you, Sam.

Myra McAllister

Bridesmaid

Myra Claire. Our little nugget. I vividly remember the day she was born. Weighing only 6lb 6oz, she officially took the title of smallest baby from me. Myra has a contagious laugh, and I love it when she smiles and her eyes get squinty and her nose scrunches up. Myra has always been my Walmart buddy. Anytime I'm going, she makes sure she can tag along. :) We share a deep love of holding and taking care of babies, and a belief that running errands is a special occasion and definitely calls for a coffee or a soda. Her one-liners and puns never fail to make me laugh. I am so glad to call her my friend as well as my little sister.

Elliott Thomas

Jr. Groomsman

Elliott is my first nephew, my creek buddy, and one of my very best friends. In The Chronicles of Narnia, as the old Narnia passes away and the characters enter Aslan’s Country, Jewel the unicorn says, “The reason we loved the old Narnia is that it sometimes looked a little like this.” Time at the creek with my little friend has been my own glimpse of Heaven. Walking through a hot June hayfield with “walking grass” between our lips, jumping the rusty red gate, and wandering together on our creek adventures are memories I return to often. Thank you, Elliott, for showing me why we sometimes love the old Narnia.

Miriam McAllister

Jr. Bridesmaid

Miriam Violet. Miri-Vi is our little spitfire, full of spunk and personality. One of my favorite memories of her was once when we were on vacation in Florida when she was about three years old. While protesting her need for the sunscreen my dad was attempting to put on her, she said, "Dad, you just don't understand brown people." And that story about sums her up. :) She is full of confidence, energy, and good humor. She is driven and good at seeing things through. It has been a joy to watch her grow into a graceful young lady, and I can't wait to see all she will become.

Lucas Thomas

Ring Bearer

Lucas, my second nephew, is an absolute legend. He has an alternate personality named “Mr. Poopy Pants,” who often makes a dance appearance whenever good music is playing over morning coffee and breakfast; consider yourself warned. I don’t know a better conversationalist. I remember one July evening, while pushing him in a swing, I asked, “Lucas, what is your favorite sandwich?” He immediately replied, “Honey and mustard,” then spent the next hour explaining why, all in one breath if memory serves. His legendary nature reminds me to strive to be legendary myself. Thank you, Lucas.

Silas McAllister

Ring Bearer

Silas Roman. My dearest, and only, little brother. To know this little boy is to love him. He is always the star of the show and always has a story to tell. For his first 6 months of life, we called him, "Our little treasure boy", and while we decided that nickname should fade before he was old enough to let it go to his head, he truly is a treasure. :) Silas is my little walking buddy. He would often come down to my room while I was studying and tell me it was time to take a break and go on a walk. If I was in the middle of something, he would climb up in my lap and "help" me finish so we could go. I love him so much and can't wait to see all the Lord does in his life.

Juliette Thomas

Flower Girl

Juliette is my first niece and my little princess. She had me wrapped around her finger from the moment I first held her. She tells me often that she loves me and that she wants to marry me, and though I remind her that whoever she marries one day will be far better than me, she refuses to believe it. Her kind heart, playful spirit, little eye rolls, and quick wit make her a joy to be around. Thank you for loving me so well, Juliette.

Maybree McAllister

Flower Girl

Maybree Eden. My little Mayber-baybers. Even though she is not the youngest McAllister sibling, she will always be our baby girl. Maybree's name means, "Fair lady" and she lives up to it. She is a lovely little lady inside and out. She is kind, helpful, and has an amazing sense of style. I hope I can dress as well as Maybree one day. She is also hilarious, often coming up with clever quips that leave us all laughing. Maybs loves to laugh and be silly, and she has the best dance moves. She has a tender heart toward the things of the Lord and toward the people around her, and I'm excited to see the fair lady she grows up to be.
