Our preferred travel plan is to fly into Orlando the morning before the cruise, then take an Uber to a Disney hotel for an overnight stay. The next morning, we love using Disney’s transportation to the cruise terminal as it is super convenient! Around 7 AM, Disney will collect your luggage directly from your hotel room and deliver it straight to your stateroom on the ship. This service is $45/person but well worth it in our opinion and is only offered if you stay on Disney property the night before.
You can also choose to rent a car and drive to the port yourself. There’s an Enterprise location nearby where you can return the car, and they provide a shuttle to take you directly to the cruise terminal.
One of our favorite places to stay is Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter! With its charming streets and relaxing vibe, it’s the perfect place to unwind before the adventure begins. Plus, you can enjoy a scenic boat ride to Disney Springs for dining, shopping and a little extra magic.
