We're getting married!

Our story starts in a place that’s filled with joy, but an unlikely place for romance- The Labor & Delivery unit. We were both early in our careers when some of our first interactions were spent disagreeing on how to work-up abdominal pain in pregnancy. Despite some of those early, and very respectful, moments of opposition, we grew to respect each other as colleagues.  Over the years, we’d run into each other here and there- sometimes on night shifts, in passing on the elevator, or at the bedside of patients. Moments brief and unremarkable on the surface, yet gently stitching us into each other’s orbit. Danial was secretly enamored the entire time- desperately trying to piece together cogent sentences in Sadia’s presence, and he did such a good job…that she didn’t notice him much.  Three and a half years after their initial meeting, divine intervention struck in the form of Olivia Lu and Bianca Weathers. Olivia saw potential for Sadia and Danial and slowly started nudging them both toward each other. And it didn’t take much.  As soon as we connected, getting to know each other felt seamless…familiar. And after just a few dates, our potential was clear to us too.  Danial, the practical, no frills man who’ would gladly avoid a camera whenever possible was falling deeply, wholeheartedly in love with Sadia, the queen of luxury and aesthetic. And, perhaps, more surprisingly, Sadia was falling too.  It turns out that we share a love of positive affirmation, a passion for compassion, and an unending commitment to others. We inspire each other toward constant growth, admire each other for our strength in the present, and help each other learn from our past.  And our story is just beginning.
