Welcome, We're So Excited to Celebrate This Moment With You!

It was a beautiful, fall day on October 5, 2018. Isaiah and Sadé were asked to represent Bowie State's Fine and Performing Arts Center at a "mock audition" for prospective students. Sadé's voice professor, Dr. Regan introduced them and paired them together at a table. Little did they know, they were sitting next to their soulmate. Shortly after, they would become great friends. As time progressed, on December 1, 2018 they decided to make it official, date, and start their journey towards marriage.

One random Wednesday, June 23, 2021 to be exact, the lovely couple decided to embark on a date night! This would be their last date night as boyfriend and girlfriend. Isaiah planned a surprise scavenger hunt for Sadé! The first stop, Bowie State University's Fine and Performing Arts Center: Where they first met. The moment was filled with memories as sweet as lemonade. Then, there was another clue: Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for dinner. This is the couple's favorite celebration dinner restaurant. The soon-to-be-engaged couple got on their cleanest outfits and headed to dinner. It was the end of the dinner and they headed home... but this wasn't the end of the night. Just as they walked back in, another clue was revealed. This clue came with a twist: a blindfold to an undisclosed location. As they drove to GORC Park, Sadé's mind raced as she tried to compute where they were heading. Once they arrived and stepped out of the car, to her surprise, she was surrounded by family and friends who came just to be a part of this special moment. Just as she realized what was happening, Isaiah gets down on his knee and before he can even finish the question, she screams out her answer: "YES! YES! YES!" The crowd cheered and celebrated the lovely couple with photos and gifts until sundown. They were surrounded by myriads of love and support - this would foreshadow the rest of their future!
