Yes! If you plan on using this service (AKA if you are drinking) please see the following: Dear Family & Friends, We are providing a shuttle service for transportation to and from Nantahala Weddings & Events for before and after our wedding ceremony and reception! If you will be using the shuttle for transportation to Nantahala Weddings, please sign up on the attached spreadsheet so we may plan accordingly with Always on Time Shuttle Service for your transportation needs. Side note: The venue has concrete walk ways to get to the main celebration areas. However, there is a lot of gravel and a large hill to walk up to get to the ceremony space so please keep this in mind when picking your shoes.

Yes! Please feel free to drive in your own car to the venue. When you arrive at Nantahala Weddings, park in the area to the left of the Nantahala Weddings sign. Make sure to park perpendicular to the road. If you are unable to walk up the 300-foot path to the ceremony, there will be a “Shuttle Stop” sign and a bench set up in the half-circle parking lot for you. Wait there until the 4WD Polaris arrives to take you to the ceremony. If you would like to take the shuttle when you leave, please feel free to leave your car with us.
If you are not using the shuttle services, please arrive at the venue at around 4:30 to give yourself time to get a drink and find your seat!
The phone service is spotty, especially when driving to the venue and the areas surrounding it. There is WIFI at the venue! Wi-Fi: If you need internet service upon arrival: NETWORKS (depending on where you are on the property): Fie Top, Mateos, Chapel in the Sky, Nantahala Weddings. PASSWORD: floatabovetheclouds
Nope!! Everyone is welcome to Groovy Karaoke and the movie night, but please do not feel like you have to come.
Fingers crossed for a beautiful June day! However, if there is rain the venue will provide umbrellas for the ceremony. The rest of the wedding festivities will take place in a covered pavilion.
We literally named our dog after a beer, of course there will be an open bar! We will have a large beer selection as well as Whiteclaw, wine, craft beer from a local brewery, as well as Titos and Jack.
We will have multiple beer options, seltzer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. If you wish to bring something we may not have please give it to the bartender to serve you throughout the evening.
Book as soon as you are able to! This is a summer time vacation spot and the homes that are close to the venue could book up quick. Please use the link on the travel page to find where you would like to stay.
We will not be inviting kids to our wedding. However, you are more than welcome to bring them and have a sitter watch them at your lodging during the different festivities throughout the weekend.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation so unfortunately no plus ones.
Please RSVP on this wedding website. We are not doing a mail in RSVP. If you are having trouble finding the RSVP button please reach out to Sydney Krehbiel (618-541-4002). She is more than happy to help!
If you could kindly RSVP by the end of February. The invitation states to RSVP by 2/7/24 but due to slow mail it is understandable if you do not do this in time. We just need an estimated guest count for our vendors by the end of February.
