Our wedding festival blends the love & joy of a wedding with the energy & freedom of a music festival! We’re also inviting our guests to help co-create the experience! If you feel called to contribute, check out our shared spreadsheet to see where you can lend a hand. 💛 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1myrP9HTlSfagKhMEp5Gln7Z3I8fdx94J1slJKUbqU48/edit?usp=sharing
The actual wedding is on September 27 at Darrington Bluegrass Music Park. There will be a set-up/pre-party on September 26, and anyone who would like to come help is welcome!
While we will have a short, intentional ceremony to exchange our vows, we’re skipping the traditional wedding formalities—no wedding party, set dinner, assigned seating, first dance, or speeches. Instead, we’re creating a weekend of music, community, and self-expression in nature—featuring DJ sets, dancing, creative outfits, and space to celebrate love in a way that feels authentic and connected. You’re invited to camp with us for the night or find your own nearby accommodations—whatever feels best for you!
We’ll have some non-alcoholic drinks available, and a food truck available if you'd like to support a small business and purchase food. That being said, we encourage everyone to bring your own food/snacks and beverages! Please note: We lovingly request that alcohol be kept to a minimum as we want to keep this a very intentional, safe, and conscious experience for all.
"Come as you are!" Dress in a way that feels fun and expressive—whether that’s festival attire, something flowy. (Rachel likes the idea of "upstage the bride") Basically, wear whatever makes you feel amazing!!
There will be some seating available, but we encourage you to bring your own camping chair if you'd like to ensure a comfortable spot during the short ceremony.
Yes! Bring your little ones - we'd love to dance and play with them. There will be some child-friendly activities too!
Yes! Camping is available on-site. We will be camping and we would love for many of our beloved friends & family to camp with us. There are also nearby Airbnbs and hotels if camping isn’t your vibe!
