Melanie moved to Cape Cod, MA in 2015 to Pursue her Dream Job in Child Advocacy. Melanie had just defined her Faith in 2015 and was looking for a Church and a Young Adult Group to connect with. Melanie Joined Cape Cod Church's Young Adults Bible Study just a few months in to her living on Cape, Jonathan was in the Group. She took note of him because of the way he carried himself, she wanted a Faithful Man of God who wasn't ashamed of his Faith. A few years go by and Melanie & Jonathan see one another in social/church situations but nothing took root yet. Melanie and Jonathan went on a Friends Trip to Vermont in March 2019 (4 years after they first saw each-other), they know now there were sparks then. Melanie spent that trip Heckling Jonathan on the Long Range Radios he gave to the group and Jonathan stopped at any coffee shop passed because he learned Mel's Love For Coffee. Melanie had been attending another Church at that time (Harbor Church) where Melanie and Jonathan had mutual friends + Jonathan had a long term friendship with the Pastor. Harbor had Baptisms At The Beach in August 2019 and Jonathan came down to say hello to some old friends. Melanie was there as a member of the Church. Jonathan and Melanie talked for what seemed like over an hour on the beach and everyone (aka Josh and Suzie) could see what was happening and convinced Melanie to text Jonathan the next day. Melanie texted Jonathan and before the Conversation was over they had their first date. First Date was the Gun Range (Jonathan's Speed) and Chic-Fil-A. Their Second Date was Batting Cages (Mel's speed) and A&W. They made some more memories with their first picture together at Harbor Block Party 2019 (Mel loves photos and Jonathan is a good sport), A ride on Jonathan's Boat, and a more formal Dinner Date on August 28th 2019 made it official and the rest is history.
