Milk & Roses in Brooklyn is a cozy, Italian-inspired restaurant located in the Greenpoint neighborhood. The ambiance is charming and rustic, with a warm, intimate feel created by exposed brick walls, wood-paneled interiors, and vintage decor. During warmer months, the garden area becomes the true highlight: it’s a lush, green outdoor space that feels secluded and peaceful, ideal for brunch or better yet, our romantic ceremony!

What Is The Dress Code for the Ceremony?

We invite guests to choose from Traditional Indian, Indo-Western, or Western formal attire based on whatever makes them feel most comfortable. Don't feel pressured to purchase something specific for the event, and feel free to reach out to Sachin or Brittney if you have any questions! Nura, located in Brooklyn’s lively Greenpoint neighborhood, offers a modern, creative take on Indian-inspired cuisine with a rotating seasonal menu. The restaurant is a lush and elegant space, with decor featuring vibrant colors, warm earthy tones, and contemporary touches that make the space feel both lively and welcoming. Transportation & Parking at the Venues

Answer

Public transportation recommendations will vary depending on your chosen hotel location, however, most guests will prefer to take an Uber to/from the venue. NOTE: If you are using Uber, please use our promo code, RJAQGYHNEJJ, when booking through the app or website. It's nothing fancy or a cool wedding hashtag, but we can pretend ;) Public transportation options include: G train, with a short walk required to reach the destination. The best Parking for Milk & Roses is along the side streets (Ash St, Box St, Clay St). The nearest parking garage is at 27 Eagle St, Brooklyn, 11222. The best parking for Nura is along the side streets (Dobbins St, Guernsey St, Lorimer St). Nura is a short walk from the Nassau G train stop. Sherman Parking Garage is a 6-minute walk if driving.

Where Should I Stay?

We've provided some hotel options which can be found under our "Hotels" section. We recognize guests may choose to stay elsewhere to enjoy the city as they wish. Wherever you choose, we recommend booking at your earliest convenience to avoid increased prices. Generally, we recommend staying in Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Greenpoint), while more budget-friendly options can be found in Lower Manhattan (East Village or Lower East Side), Long Island City. Our wedding venue operates under seated capacity limitations and age restrictions. Invites have been addressed to individuals we are able to accommodate on our big day. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
