One of many night markets, Raohe Night Market is packed with different food stalls featuring many Taiwanese delicacies, like pepper pork buns, stinky tofu, and delicious Taiwanese sausage. Britney the Foodie approved ;)
Breakfast is the most important meal to Taiwanese people so naturally we excel at it!. Try some soy milk with a fried you-tiao (Taiwanese savory donut), a dan bing (egg pancake), or a shao-bing (oven baked flaky pastry).
Up on the beautiful mountains of Taiwan, filled with tea houses (and of course, lots of things to eat), Jiufen Old Street is full of Taiwanese culture at every turn. Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away is rumored to have been inspired by the glowing red lanterns around Jiufen.
