We have booked out the entire hotel for the wedding festivities. There are plenty of rooms for every guest! The dates booked for the hotel are Friday, September 4th - Sunday, September 6th. The hotel/wedding venue is 1.5 hour drive from Lisbon. This is a very remote area that does not have Uber. You will NEED to rent a car! This is very important. You can also hire a private driver! If you are coming from America, we suggest flying into the Lisbon International Airport. It's a 15 minute drive to the city center. Don't forget that jetlag is rough! We suggest flying into Portugal at least a few days before the wedding weekend to settle in and adjust. Lisbon is the most incredible city in the world and there is so much to see and do! There are a lot of great hotels and Airbnbs in Lisbon. It's a big city, which means lots of options. Below you will find some of our hotel suggestions. There are multiple locations all around Lisbon for pick up and drop off. You don't need a car in Lisbon, it's more of a hassle than anything. We suggest using Uber or public transportation and only renting the car for the days you are driving down to Comporta. Don't forget! This is Europe which means most cars are manual. Make sure you book an automatic car if needed. ALSO! The sooner you book the car, the less expensive it will be! There are a few electric chargers at the hotel if you choose to rent a hybrid/electric car.
