We do things a little different around here...
Orthodox weddings begin with cocktail hour followed by the Chuppah ceremony and reception. During cocktail hour, the bride and groom take part in separate rituals known as a Bedeken and a Tisch, respectively. The Chuppah includes several customs of its own: the bride circling the groom, making seven blessings over a glass of wine, and most famously, the breaking of the glass!
