We're getting married

It’s funny to think that our paths were intertwined long before we actually met. We both went to Plymouth Elementary, but our lives didn’t truly cross until high school. Back in our childhood days, we hung out with siblings but never together. We were always unknowingly near each other. Fast forward to the end of our freshman and junior year at PW. I went to a PW baseball game with a friend who dared me to yell “hey babe” to some random right fielder. A few weeks later that same friend asked if she could give some boy my number who really liked me, you guessed it- the random PW varsity right fielder. We lost touch during the summer while Zach was in Canada fishing with friends, and I was with my family beaching it up in OCNJ. When school started back up again, Zach asked to take me to a Friday night football game- and the rest is history. We became inseparable. I’ve always heard of the invisible string theory, but I never thought it would be something I would experience. Zach and I would reminisce about our childhood, getting to know one another, while also learning how close we have always been to one another. Zachs dad, George, and my uncle, Uncle Jack, were friends in school when they were in PW back in ’81. Uncle Jack and George then went on to the police academy together years after. Zachs mom, Donna, and my mom, Ann, worked together with the PTA during our childhood years at Plymouth Elementary. I feel as though we were always connected and it was a matter of time before our string formed a circle and we’d meet. When we trust in God’s timing and guidance, He leads us to the person who complements our journey and fulfills our hearts. I feel so lucky to have met the person at the end of my invisible string.
