We’re tying the knot!

Sabrina and Vito's love story began two years ago when they met online. At first, it was a game of cat and mouse, with Sabrina ghosting Vito for a few months. However, one day, Vito reached out, saying he was going to delete the app, which prompted Sabrina to finally respond. She was relieved, as it had been so long, and she felt guilty for ghosting him. Uncertain about how to start a conversation again, Sabrina was afraid that Vito would ignore her message and that her opportunity had passed. However, to her surprise, Vito quickly responded, and they messaged all evening on Christmas Eve. Soon after, they agreed to FaceTime, and they talked well into Christmas Day, wishing each other a Merry Christmas for the first time. After the holiday madness, they scheduled their first date to meet in person. And it sounds cliché, but it was love at first sight. Their first date was not just one date, but an entire weekend of first dates. They played escape the room that weekend, and Vito was smitten with Sabrina by the way she opened the envelopes so neatly. After dating for about a month, Vito dropped Sabrina off at her Mom's house, where she was watching her three children. As he walked her to the front door, Sabrina's two youngest peered out the window to try and catch a glimpse of who had been stealing away their mom's time. Her middle child opened the door and exclaimed, "So this is who the 'V' on your text messages is! What is your name?". Sabrina soon decided to introduce Vito formally to her children, and they all went for a hike together in the snowy woods. The first meeting was electric, and they all synced up so perfectly. Sabrina's daughter even called Vito "Daddy" at that very first meeting because she knew he was the perfect fit for their family. It wasn't long before they started spending all of their weekends and school vacations together. One day, Vito took Sabrina to her favorite hiking spot and asked her oldest to take photos of them. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee, asking her to marry him. He had recruited her son to be his wingman and set up this romantic encounter to propose. Sabrina and Vito soon purchased their first house together, and they have been living together happily since the Summer of 2022. They are excited to share this next chapter in their life at their church in Newport, RI. It's a beautiful love story that proves that love can be found even when we're not looking for it.
