Please RVSP by August 31st.
In Mexico, Día de los Muertos is a sacred and joyful time honoring ancestors and family lineage. This felt like a deeply aligned moment to celebrate our marriage; as a union held within generations of love and memory.
We recommend Querétaro (QRO). León/Guanajuato (BJX) is also a great option and can be cheaper. I suggest checking both based on your departure city and comparing prices. Driving time to San Miguel is about 1–1.5 hours from either. The shuttle company listed on the 'Travel' page is available to book from either and will bring you directly on-site.
No, U.S. citizens just need a valid passport. You’ll receive a tourist card on arrival.
Ideally by Thursday afternoon (Oct. 29th) if you’d like to attend the Wachuma ceremony and temazcal sweat lodges, or Friday morning (Oct. 30th) or early afternoon, especially if you don't want to miss the welcome cacao ceremony.
We will coordinate 2 group shuttles that you may be able to join. Otherwise we recommend Baijiogo shuttle service ($34 usd per person) or private drivers. We can recommended drivers. Baijiogo contact info. is available on the 'Travel' page.
They can be. I suggest booking early (4-6 months out) and looking at both airport options (or even Mexico City if a longer bus ride is not a deterrent). Flights should be cheapest if arriving before Oct 25 or on Friday, Oct 30th.
Not necessary, but up to you. Taxi’s and Ubers are plentiful, safe, & very reasonable.
Ideally at the wedding venue, Finca La Devoción (See Travel page) There are 22 rooms, 8 glamping tents, and camping options available. Once those are filled, we will share a list of hotels nearby the venue at different price points. Everything will be within 10 minutes of the wedding venue.
Shuttles & taxis will be provided for major events (from airport, to the callejoneada in town, etc). Taxi/Uber is also easy within SMA.
Yes but it’s limited, we encourage shuttles, taxi’s, or carpooling if local.
Think 1998’s Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas & Catherine Zeta Jones. Rustic Mexican, earthy elegance infused with mythic ceremony, tons of marigolds, candlelight, and ancestral magic vibes.
The ceremony is outdoors, think ritual meets fiesta, not formal procession. • Flowing dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, or relaxed suits • Natural fabrics: cotton, linen, silk, wool blends • Comfortable footwear: cowboy boots, flats, sandals, wedges • Cowboy/bolero hats, rebozos, shawls, and meaningful jewelry are welcome • Layers encouraged for sunset and evening
Terracotta, marigold, rust, sand, cream, olive, chocolate, wine, soft black, muted turquoise, sky blue, and warm neutrals. You also do not need to match a palette, just aim for tones that feel grounded and harmonious with nature.
• Black-tie or overly formal looks • Neon or very bright white • Anything you can’t sit, walk, or dance in comfortably
Wear something that lets you feel present, embodied, and yourself. If you feel good in what you’re wearing, it will be right.

Participation is entirely voluntary & these offerings are paid for individually at a very reasonable rate. Your comfort and sovereignty matter.
A callejoneada is a festive group walk through town led by live music, with singing and celebrating along the way. It’s a fun Mexican tradition, and we’re including one as part of our wedding weekend.
